1. Service Description

Memoir ("the Service") is a browser extension and web application provided by SWAA Life that captures, summarizes, and indexes webpages you visit to enable natural language search of your browsing history. The Service is operated by SWAA Life ("we", "us", "our").

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Service
  • Share your account with others or create multiple accounts
  • Use automated tools to generate excessive API requests
  • Store or index content that violates intellectual property rights
  • Use the Service to collect data about other people without their consent

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data captured through the Service. We do not claim ownership of your browsing history, captured pages, or any associated content. You may export or delete your data at any time through the dashboard.

5. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice of planned downtime when possible.

6. Intellectual Property

The Memoir name, logo, browser extension, web application, and associated code are the intellectual property of SWAA Life. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without explicit permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. SWAA Life shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
